Internet and e-culture reveal a second world



As I said it last wednesday, e-culture is a possibility to open the mind, the imaginary...


For example, we can compared Internet to a mirror because the news tools of writing allows anyone to tell its story. So you can explain your life, put photos, you can show a lot thing about you. On the plateform skyblog : lot of young people try a to show an image of themthelves. But I don't think Internet a real mirror : it's a deformed mirror !


In another way, what counts is the answer. If you write, you want a comment, you are looking for a message. Internet is an echo : in many case you can find people like you, you can find on spider's web people with the same worries or hobbies... You are not alone, you gradually form a community with its believes, its codes, its manners of seeing the life... On the site Agoravox, you share your opinions and invite Internet users to react to your articles.


That's why Internet is also a rainbow : all the colors are express. Anyone can give voice to one's feeling. when the rainbow is here, the beautifull weather is not so far ! Express yourself !there are a lot of sites for this thanks to the forums, the comments... But sometimes it'a pity : people can speak about anything.

So Internet could be a mirage : you are under the impression that you are in a perfect world. In fact, it's true. Second Life is a falsification of world but 400000 persons exist on this website. Besides the slogan the catch phrase is "your world your imagination".


It'a very easy to make a new identity. With Internet, all the world becomes a magic illusion. You are behind the screen, you create a made-up story. Your hide and you protect your life with a psudonym, a confidential name.


For shy people, for disabled person (handicapped people), Internet is a dream. No one can judge them by appearances. The only thing which is count is their mind and the way of seeing the life.

Sometimes, anyone can be desappointed : Internet is a mascarade, it's powerful like a flash of lightning. The risk is to fall in darkness to after this !


At last, e-culture can be compared to a onion : that is to say if you peel it, if you spend a long time to navigate, you can find the quintessence. In this case Internet may help you in all the areas of your life.

Internet offers great possibilities for tourist and cultural promotion.

What it is necessary to know above all: tourism is the sector which gains more in E-trade. Train tickets, plane tickets, voyages, hiring of lodgings, hotel : the consumer does not hesitate any more to make purchases over Internet, it has confidence more and more. Internet is a formidable numerical tool which makes it possible to make promotion one to one. What means that the offers suggested are particularly well targeted, adapted to the requirements of the new traveller : the E-traveller.


In addition to making sell, Internet makes dream: it opens the imaginary. The photographs, the interactive maps, the panoramic vidéos make it possible to prepare its voyage, to mature its project and its ideas on the destination. But the great innovation with Internet it is the communities. Thanks to the blogs, the division of the opinions and the accounts of voyage, the internauts get more information , the consumers are increasingly enlightened and informed on the destinations , on the tour-operators and on the other travel agencies.

Introduction

I am Gaëlle Veillaux, I'm 26, I'm Parisian (but not for so long !)

I study in Celsa since february of 2007. The Celsa depends from la Sorbonne (Paris IV). The mention of my professional master is "Cultures, tourisms, and numeric communication." I worked for four years in journalism. I began in 2002 at the end of a time : free newspapers and explosion of Internet. For the written press, the difficulties are numerous : not as many advertising, not as many readers. And it's the same for magazines.

I did a lot of training courses in the prestigious corporation Hachette Filipacchi Media (Elle, Paris Match, Télé 7 jours...). Actually, I created the Intranet of the human ressources of the group. Then, it was easy to find another training courses but it was impossible to have the job. I was young and full of hope, that's perfect to stay a trainee !

In those days I met a person who would like create a new magazine... and immediately he thinks about me ! Here we go : the magazine was dedicate to teenagers girls. It was fun and the magazine has a great audience in France, Belgium and Switzerland. It will only last for a while : after one year, the redundancy hit for us !
